“I’m over the moon to be back in GT World Challenge Asia again, this was our original plan back in 2020, but we all know what happened so this plan never made it to fruition. Sandy is currently the all-time lap record holder at the circuit (1:32.859), after his successes there in 2019. The circuit has since not seen a race, with 2022 being the first event held on the beach-side streets since the global pandemic. The championship will then host the remaining 3 rounds at Thailand’s top permanent racing facility; the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand.

“I’m very happy to be extending my partnership with B-Quik Absolute Racing this season, we have a very good relationship and I have enjoyed being in this family since 2019. This year, our goal does not change. We are here to win and that is our target. The team has not left a stone unturned and we will give it our best shot to try to take back the crown! I’m looking forward to a great battle with all of the great competitors in 2022”, explains Sandy.
