Thai Racing driver Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik launches his new website (www.sandystuvik.com) prior to the first round of the Blancpain GT Series Asia season. Sandy will race the #911 Porsche 911 GT3R this year with Hong-Kong based team Craft Bamboo Racing.
After finishing in 6th place overall last season, Sandy is eager to reach the top step of the podium to play the Thai National Anthem on the famous circuits around Asia. This year the Porsche will feature an aerodynamic update kit which includes a smoother hood and 2 large canards on each side.
The Thai driver is confident that this year will be better than the last. “Last year wasn’t too bad considering that there were 3 DNFs that were out of my control. In such a competitive championship, if you don’t score points in just one race, you’re almost out of contention for the championship. Last year the Porsches ran quickly and consistently, so I’m hoping that consistency will give me the chance to fight for the championship this year.” Sandy says.
Remember to follow Sandy for the first race at Sepang, Malaysia on the 14-15 April, the race will be shown live on Youtube at www.youtube.com/user/gt1world.
Sandy is forever thankful to the support of his sponsors; The Pizza Company, Singha Corporation, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Airways, Thaiwings Travel Agency, the Royal Automobile Association of Thailand, and the Sports Authority of Thailand.
