Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik Confirms 2026 Thailand Super Series Campaign with Ford Thailand Racing

Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik will continue his long-standing partnership with Ford Thailand Racing (FTR) as he confirms his entry into the 2026 Thailand Super Series season. This year marks Stuvik’s seventh consecutive season as a contracted driver for FTR, a collaboration that began in 2020 and has since developed into one of the most consistent programs in the series.

The 2026 season represents a significant evolution for Ford Thailand Racing. As part of this strategic growth, Stuvik joins YK Motorsports to spearhead the development of FTR’s latest competitive effort.

Under this new partnership, Stuvik will campaign a Ford Ranger Single Cab powered by the 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine in the highly competitive Thailand Super Pickup class. The category continues to grow in stature, with a full grid of 39 trucks confirmed for the 2026 season, making it one of the most fiercely contested classes in Thailand Super Series.

The move to YK Motorsports signals both opportunity and challenge, as the team works intensively to prepare a brand-new package ahead of the season opener. With limited time for development, the focus has been on building a competitive and reliable platform in time for the first round at Chang International Circuit, scheduled for May 21–24.

Stuvik enters the season carrying strong momentum, having secured victory in the final race of the 2025 campaign. However, he remains pragmatic about the work ahead as the new team structure takes shape.

“I’m very excited to continue with Ford Thailand Racing for my seventh season,” said Stuvik. “This year presents a fresh challenge as we expand into a new team with YK Motorsports. We’re building something new, and that comes with a lot of development work in a short timeframe, but I feel fully prepared and motivated to take it on.”

He added: “Winning the final race of 2025 gives us confidence, but we know the level of competition in the Thailand Super Pickup class is incredibly high. My focus is on helping develop the truck and the team as quickly as possible, and I’m looking forward to racing against the best drivers and teams in the championship this season.”

The 2026 Thailand Super Series season begins at Chang International Circuit from May 21–24, where Stuvik and YK Motorsports will debut their new program in front of what is expected to be a highly competitive field.
