Double podium in Sepang for Sandy

B-Quik Absolute Racing’s Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik and co-driver Henk Kiks delivered a strong performance in Round 3 of the Thailand Super Series at Sepang International Circuit, securing valuable championship points with podium finishes across the weekend’s two races.

After showing decent pace in practice but qualifying fifth in both sessions, the team fought hard in Race 1, navigating tire degradation and extreme heat to claim a well-earned third place following a safety car period after the pit window.

Race 2 saw Stuvik make a determined start, moving up to third before handing over to Kiks. As heavy rain arrived late in the race, most of the field switched to wet tires, but the leading pair stayed out—leaving the B-Quik Absolute Racing Porsche to finish in fifth position.

Across the weekend, Stuvik enjoyed close battles, including a thrilling opening lap in Race 2 against Kantasak Kusiri in the #12 Honda NSX GT3 and Akash Nandy in the #27 Audi R8 GT3 Evo2.

Quote from Sandy:
“A very enjoyable weekend in Sepang. We gained good points in the championship and had consistent race pace after our brief struggles in qualifying. I’m looking forward to building on this momentum at the next round in Sepang next month.”
