Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik Takes Emotional Victory for Ford Thailand Racing at TSS 2025 Finale

It was a weekend of highs and lows for Sandy Kraokaew Stuvik and Ford Thailand Racing, as the Thailand Super Series concluded its 2025 season at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram. Competing in the #3 Ford Ranger in the Super Pickup class, Sandy showed remarkable pace, determination, and resilience across three challenging races — culminating in a hard-fought victory in the final race of the weekend, marking Ford’s first win of the season.

The weekend began under wet conditions for qualifying, where Sandy delivered a strong performance to secure a front-row start for Friday evening’s race. Launching brilliantly off the light, he seized the lead into Turn 1 and began to pull away from the field. Unfortunately, after six laps, a broken engine belt caused the Ford Ranger to lose cooling, forcing Sandy to retire from the race while leading.

This setback placed Sandy 22nd on the grid for Saturday’s race, but the Thai driver was determined to fight back. In an intense charge through the field, he climbed steadily into contention for a top-five finish — a position that would have secured a reverse-grid pole for Sunday. However, on the final lap, a fuel-related issue cost him valuable time, leaving him to finish in 14th place, which became his starting position for Race 3.

Undeterred, Sandy once again got off to a lightning start on Sunday. Within a few laps, he had broken into the top five, engaging in thrilling battles as attrition began to shake up the order. As he fought for second place, the race leader was forced to retire, promoting Sandy to the lead of the race. A safety car period followed due to on-track incidents, but when racing resumed, Sandy held firm under pressure to take the chequered flag — and deliver a historic win for Ford Thailand Racing.

“It feels incredible to finally take this victory,” said Sandy. “The team has worked tirelessly developing this Ford Ranger all season, and to bring home Ford’s first win of the year makes it all worth it. The support from everyone at the track and watching online was amazing — I’m so proud of what we achieved together this weekend.”

The win capped off a dramatic and rewarding end to the 2025 Thailand Super Series season for both Sandy and Ford Thailand Racing, signaling strong momentum heading into the next campaign.
