- Only engines rebuilt by FRD approved rebuilders are allowed to be used for the Championship.
- The promoter is considering a mandatory dyno test for all engines entering the series prior to the first race of the season.

Tire
- Kumho is the official tyre supplier of AFR.
- Each Car is allowed to use two sets of tire for Qualifying, warm up and races.
- A tire lottery will be conducted Friday of the race weekend.
- Tires can be booked ahead of time and paid by wire transfer or purchased on site.
